What is Matchline? Matchline is an online social community and peer-to-peer support system of Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer mentors (Bigs).   What is the purpose of Matchline? The main purpose of Matchline is to strengthen your relationship with your Little and to give you tools to maximize your potential as a mentor. During your match period, you may come across times when your Little is struggling with an issue that you cannot relate to or resolve on your own. Matchline gives you the opportunity to seek out advice from other mentors who may have come across the same situation with their Little or are otherwise more knowledgeable with the topic. Matchline also allows you to make friends with other Bigs within your network and find more match activities to diversify your outings. Believe it or not but even kids get tired of pizza and movies!   How do I join Matchline? You must first become a volunteer mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Once you have completed the application process and been accepted into the program, you will be invited by your Match Support Specialist (MSS) to join the Matchline community via e-mail.
